Maverick House looking for new authors

Apr 21, 2011 Comments Off By

Maverick’s imprint Book Republic is looking back on the 6 months since its launch as an imprint of Maverick House Publishers, with some very successful results. The publisher has released five books since November 2010; among them big sellers, ‘Ten Fingers and Ten Toes’ by Yvonne Joye and ‘Chantilly Dawns’ by Lissa Oliver.

Both books are also very popular on Scribd, a social media site for authors.

Maverick House is currently converting its backlist and forthcoming titles into e-books for download on Kindle and other e-book formats, in response to the surge in demand for digital books. Titles available on amazon.co.uk so far are as follows:

‘Secret Genocide’ by Daniel Pedersen;

‘Dead Drunk’ by Paul Garrigan;

‘Ladyboys’ by Susan Aldous and Pornchai Sereemongkonpol;

‘Farang’ and ‘Farang: The Sequel’ by Dr Iain Corness;

‘Miss Bangkok’ by Bua Boonmee and Nicola Pierce;

‘Bangkok Boy’ by Chai Pinit;

‘A Secret History of the Bangkok Hilton’ by Chavoret Jaruboon with Pornchai Sereemongkonpol.

The publisher is always looking for new talent. If you have a great story to share, why not  email  info@maverickhouse.com or phone us on 01 8255717.
